Black =/= White homophobia is pretty equal. However, I kinda kii at the fact that people are 100% down for talking about issues in the black community UNTIL homophobia comes up. Then they're quick to say "white people do it too!!!!" as if anyone claimed they didn't.

And dead @ anybody saying Jay's last good album was in 2003. That's BS.

And Eminem is an overrated meth face, hack. The only reason he was better on Renegade is because the song was actually solely meant for him. That's why he produced it. Jay-Z just came in, laid some verses, and put it on his album last minute.

I never said the white community wasn't homophobic. It certainly is and I hate white gays. I was behind the #StopWhiteGays2k14 iniative. But if we wanna get into it, when will we see a gay black artist slaying the BET Awards/Urban Charts the way Sam Smith did with the Grammy's and the pop charts? When will we see a gay man on Love & Hip Hop or a BET show? When will see a black athlete come out and be embraced? The last two times black athletes came out, they were dropped from their teams within weeks. (I have tea on another gay athlete if you're interested). When will we see a gay man hosting a big black awards show? Of course the point can be made that the biggest show out, Empire, has a black character who is also gay, but is his major storyline not that he has a homophobic father? And is that show not on a white network? Not saying one community is more homophobic than another, but gays are certainly embraced by one more than the other.

Yeah, Jay-Z's last great album was a 2003 album. I stand by that.

Is homophobia really that bad in the black community? Cause I live in the hood and the gays walk around unbothered and nobody messes with them.

Also, the race relations and police/community relations aren't even as bad as the media makes it out to be. Young black men and officers actually converse n live in peace and harmony.

The rest of you live in very edgy places. I guess it's because I live in NYC and we're better than all of you.

1. Most people don't even know Sam Smith is gay, his lyrics are gender neutral, he never made an announcement until he was already sucessful. Frank Ocean was accepted by the Urban community from the get go.

2. Those black athletes were dropped white-owned teams.

3. White people are the ones constantly putting forth laws to take away gay rights, not the black community. You didn't realize a white president signed the Defense of Marriage Act? It was a black president that removed Don't Ask, Don't Tell.

4. The show being the on a white network is irrelevant, the character was created and has been embraced by blacks.

You can stand by it til your feet get tired but you still gon be wrong as hell. American Gangster WAS a legitimately great album. An anomaly in his career post-2003, but it was great.

Anyway, dude has given us 3-4 bonafide classics so the rest barely matters
