Recently Scientist have made a program or something that analyzes music over the past 50 years and have concluded that 80's music was the most bland and boring, even compared to today's music.
So for those who say "Pop music is dying" or "Getting worse", science proves you wrong!

True. That's why anyone can say "this is very 80s" since there was only one distinct popular sound throughout the decade!
you can say the same thing for every decade before it too. and now you can say
"this sounds very 90s >insert genre<" or "this sounds very 00s >insert genre<"
you can say the same thing for every decade before it too. and now you can say
"this sounds very 90s >insert genre<" or "this sounds very 00s >insert genre<"
But the 80s sound only spanned through 2-3 genres, while 90s and 00s went through several that spanned throughout the entire decade.
