I kinda agree. I mean during her peak most people on here bandwagoned for her because they thought she was going to replace Nicki (which backfired majorly), but now that they can't use her against anyone else anymore they just drag her instead. People are such bandwagoners.
I'm mixed, I'm not fickle, I LOVE Nicki, and I like several of Iggy's songs. I'm defending her because while the constant lashings she gets can be funny at times, it's really not necessary. She made a few ignorant comments when she first started out. She's not ****ing Hitler.

If we're purely talking about the bigger picture of the general public not liking her, then that's equally ridiculous, if not moreso, because people are blaming HER for being a white rapper who has seen more success than many of today's black rappers. The same people who bought "Fancy" to make that happen. Instead of blaming so-and-so's marketing team for not being as on point as Iggy's, we have to turn this into a race issue and make character-assassinating accusations about her. She's a big girl, she can handle herself. Iggy disdain has turned into a meme over the past couple of months, but it's not like that disdain isn't founded in real, fair, and valid opinions. Y'all will be the first ones running into SYG to drag so and so for far less fair reasons, but it's okay since it's just you and maybe a few other people. Xtina is an extremely talented vocalist, though. She has the raw talent to pull through and score hits or near hits well after her peak. She was never hated because of a lack of talent or musicality, it was due to her personality and association with ripping off Gaga.
Iggy does deserve a break, as she is obviously going through personal issues and was sucked into delusion, now finding out that she is not nearly as famous, popular, or powerful as she let herself believe. People should give her space and time, but she must emerge as a different (better) person when she returns or else she is going to get rightfully destroyed.
