The moves may have been a BIT simple but that's because she probably wanted everyone else to be able to do it too. Her delivery as a performer outshines the fact that the moves are simple anyway.

A great performer and a great dancer are too different things...... Beyonce is one of THE best performers of our generation but her dancing sucks. She's choreographed to a T. You can tell she tries too hard and is counting the steps in her head... its not fluid enough. Plus she does the same moves most of the time. All her videos consist of different degrees of ass shaking. I think the most dancing she's done was in Lose My Breath and Get Me Bodied. And that wasn't much.
Mya is a great dancer but she has NO stage presence whats so ever.
Janet Jackson & Tina Turner are great performers and dancers. To be honest I haven't seen a SICK dance routine from a female since Janet's All Nite. Ciara's Get Up & Go Girl are exceptions.

Beyonce is such a terrible dancer, I can't take all these simple ass dance 101 moves she do. It was cute in DC when she was 18 but the bitch about to be 28 and still doing those simple ass moves. 
...... I'm not tryna bash Beyonce if it comes off that way. But if she INSISTS on making videos that is focused on her dancing like Janet's Rhythm Nation, Miss You Much or Pleasure Principle then she will be judged accordingly.
