Jay Z's office photo at Tidal is kinda like playing Where's Black Waldo? -- and Jay Z is Waldo.
The pic popped up on Beyonce's website this week, and shows Jay and Bey mugging with a few dozen staffers at the HQ for the streaming service -- and the ONLY black people in the pic are the owners.
On the surface, this seems like something to celebrate. Progress and stuff, right? Problem is, Jay played the race card a few weeks ago, when he called out the black community for not backing his company... the way it supports Apple, Nike and Google.
Maybe more should stay in school and less off the streets or behind bars so that they're able to be gainfully employed at the corporate level...even if it is for a flop company.
This is such a STUPID article. Nobody was fuming. It was just 2 or 3 guys on twitter that got dragged to smithereens. What do they want him to do? Fire the staff he inherited through purchasing the company and then run around NORWAY [which is probably dominated w/ white people] looking for black ppl to fill positions? If I didn't believe in the "smear campaign" thing before.....

Why does it matter what the race of the employees is? I don't boycott companies based on the race of their workers most tech companies are filled with white males because that's the main demographic who studies for and applies to those jobs. Maybe JayZ was a hypocrite but he shouldn't have made those comments in the first place.
Was Jay-Z supposed to fire all the white people that were already employed with the company? Anyway, I doubt there are very many black people in Norway. And in the tech industry, on top of that?
