I have friends just like them, they have been on and off for years because of their problems and they always try to solve them and they don't want to abandon each other because they share mutual love. Same thing can be with Selena and Justin. Why would you call this a Publicity stunt or stupid? Love can do this to people, have some common sense.
They clearly don't. And neither do your friends if they can't solve their problems after this many years.
