Yeah, sight reading was the easiest part. I'd read music since junior high so that was natural.
I had a really bad ear when I started out, but I could pick up on melodies and major third/fifths etc above whatever note.
Chords were rough. Standing in front of the whole class, back facing the piano, distinguishing chords over and over and when you got them wrong.

Although major chords were MUCH easier than minor chords.
So embarrassing. I swear there is nothing like egos found in the music department.
