Because it's the true measure of how truly massive a video is. Blank Space and SIO are certainly bigger than Horse on youtube considering the fact that both will hit 1B in less than a year and would have more views than DH before the year ends despite being released months later. The fact that VEVO is basically the only place anyone can stream Taylor's music helped her out. But DH will be the first female video to cross 1B and that's the record that actually matters. I don't see how "fastest" became a thing all of a sudden.

I'm not a fan or a hater of either of them, I just don't get why SIO gaining faster comes up everytime Katy's upcoming record is brought up.
