It's bc it is their style and Britney/Iggy were slightly imitating them (which makes sense since they heard their demo), but I'm not sure how great of a LM song it would've been.
They have so much great music, but the lyrics to this are meh. I'm sure their delivery would've been fire tho. Brit/Iggy not being able to pull their delivery off makes me appriecate LM even more.
