was this like a funny parody or some sort of agenda to shame people who use government funding programs?
It's a parody video used my people who are already trying to push some sort of agenda to shame people who used government funding programs. They take this as the standard, not the extreme.

Hm. The video is pretty tasteless and the people I seen use EBT/Food Stamps are usually hard working mothers who have a job and children to take care of (without the help of a man/husband) things like this irritate me. I also have College friends who use EBT/Food Stamps. And according to Huffington Post only 2% of food stamps are ever wasted. oh well.

I don't think the person who created it was trying to come for everyone who got government assistance of some sorts, but it ended up coming out that way.
But yeah, it is pretty offensive when people look @ this video and think that's what anyone who has government assistance is like. It really trivializes a lot of peoples' struggles.

They was trying to do a stereotype that has been wrong for ages

All I ever see are people buying steaks and shrimp and scallops, and all kinds of dumb ish when they could be getting 3-4x the amount of food for their family and kids than they try to get.
