Is this really from a re-release of the album because on Tidal it's apart of the deluxe version of the album
It's not a rerelease. The version of V released on Sept. 2nd contained 14 songs. This Summer was added to this tracklist, now V contains 15 songs (Deluxe edition).

Okay, is it true that they're not re-releasing the album with more songs? The re-release already happened with this being the only new song? I was really hoping those six other song titles registered on BMI were getting released, too. They sounded promising. Regardless, "This Summer's Gonna Hurt" is coming to slay all your faves this summer! (Except, maybe Taylor because she's too busy slaying everyone else.)
Wait, this is so strange. The album's "re-release" was just plopped out at the same time as the single's release, and this one song was just randomly added to the end of the tracklist? It just seems weird that the single release didn't precede the re-release, but I guess there would be no point if there's only one new song. Also the fact that the "re-release" doesn't have a new cover or anything...
(Except, maybe Taylor because she's too busy slaying everyone else.)
It's very good imo. Hopefully it will go top 10 with the video
