Aren't her parents rich?
It's like my fave, for instance, who comes from a poor country, whose lost everything when she was still a child but she managed to become a worldwide superstar. Taylor doesn't know what she's talking about.

I agree with her, things that are hard are working two jobs to feed a family, or being a single parent, or living on the poverty line - taylor is simply being humble about her privilege position
most people work out of necessity, pop stars work out of choice, they could all retire tomorrow and not have to lift a finger ever again in their lives
|
Can y'all stop, whether you work for choice or out of necessity has no relevance to the difficulty of the job.

It's really not that hard. Charli XCX said in another interview that she would have gotten big if she went for the traditional pop routine, but it'd be boring for her. Guess Taylor just loves being a big, generic popstar.

So?
You realize she's the biggest pop girl right now, right? Being on top is not easy + she write all her music and she's heavily involved in everything she does.

Sure, but by way of comparison to say, Lady Gaga; Taylor didn't have to work those clubs. Her experience of being a popstar is different to most others, because of the massive advantage she had.

LMAO, your faves really worked hard for their success and are now sleeping on it. Taylor not one era stopped working hard. She rarely takes a break from touring, writing and recording, and her album campaigns in the first month are a HUGE effort, more than some of your faves do on their entire eras. So y'all can go with your lame attempts somewhere else because they are definitely not cutting it
By the way, she started in an indie label to which her father only has a 3% share, he's hardly the Bill Gates you try to make him seem like. GoodBYE
|
No. GOODBYE.

Consider the blood sweat and tears shed by Kelly and Beyoncé back in their Gorls Time days. Gaga getting up every night in those rough downtown clubs and bars. Taylor's experience was easy, but she shouldn't project her experience on to others.
Once you've made it, sure, things do become easier. Tougher with all the fame/attention, tho.

Poor gaga, she needed to play in some clubs for a couple of years and now she is a millionaire...
I still don't understand how someone thinks is hard to be a popstar...

Well, it's hard work making a name for yourself. If it was easy then everyone would be trying it.

Then READ the interview, she said it's easy for her to be a popstar now, but that it was way more difficult at the beginning of her career

Compared to her contemporaries, I think Taylor had it a lot easier.

That doens't have anything to do with what she said, it's your opinion, and maybe you are right, but she said that it's easy to be a popstar when you are on the top, and it's the truth.

She had to leave school behind & do a 3 month radio tour to get her debut single about love played on country radio where mostly male artists dominate with songs about trucks & beer. I don't think she had it any easier tbh.
