Bur seriously? Wouldn't be surprised if the absence of the candle will lead Brienne to leave and then run into Lady Stoneheart to start that storyline, I mean, Jaimie is still in Dorne etc, so the story wasn't ready for that moment, it might be in 3 episodes

also you guys are doing too much on Emilia Clarke. yes, she's been handed some corny lines but she's easily up there with Cersei/Tyrion.

Err, no. No she isn't.




Nothing against Emilia, I actually thought she was really good in Season 1, but she wouldn't even come close to top 10 actors on the show and does have some moments of genuinely bad acting (primarily due to weak material, but). Her good moments also don't come close to the best acting on the show. Off the top of my head, Peter Dinklage, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Jack Gleeson, Michelle Fairley, Lena Headey, Maisie Williams, Charles Dance, Pedro Pascal, and Alfie Allen are immensely better than she is.

That said, she is not the worst. Richard Madden and Kit Harrington would win that award.

To me, Sophie has bested everyone in terms of acting this season, perhaps with the exception of Lena and Dame Diana.

Nicolaj has been absolutely wooden and atrocious, Peter has done a wonderful job, but yeah, the ladies are winning this year.

Even Maisie is stepping up a bit.

Alfie's acting during Sansa's rape was up there with Michelle Fairley at the red wedding as some of the best in the show.

And "emotionless" isn't quite how I'd describe the bath scene with Brienne. Actually, it's the exact opposite. He isn't killing it this season, but he hasn't had amazing material. He's certainly not bad.

Maisie's reaction to the butcher's not dying was not the same as when she left the hound to die or was speaking with Tywin. End.

I did forgot Natalie, who's been incredible this season, and Sophie, who's also really good. And I don't even dislike Emilia, but it's pure delusion to call her one of the best cast members on the show and people are either doing it because they stan for her character or because they don't know anything about acting.

The ratings were not that great this week.

It always bugs me when people salivate over Alfie Allen's performance of Theon, it's been the same thing for 3 seasons now. Exactly the same for the rape scene, people praising Theon looking disturbed while it's Sophie's acting (with only her facial expressions) that MAKES the setting and situation of the scene. Sophie's acting is the pilar there.

Nikolaj should've gotten an Emmy nod over Dinklage for S3, the bathtub scene was better than anything Dinklage has shown on this show. Emilia was very good in S1&3 but she's indeed fairly up and down, still think Michelle Fairley should've gotten that Emmy nod for her performance in the Red Wedding. Last year Charles Dance (Tywin) was way better than Dinklage but it's always Peter who gets recognized by the Emmys.

I personally really haven't cared for Maisie's performance of Arya since S3 started, it's very monotonous.

Michelle Fairley and Lena Headey have been the strongest actors, imo. I honestly don't see how it's up for debate.

People are really pissed, a lot have stopped watching because of the Sansa rape.

Queen in the NORTH, her power.

I think Tyrion's court scene was very overrated. Of course it was a great performance, but I've seen "greatest performance in modern history" thrown around on the internet

I didn't like it that much either. It looked like he was biting the air.

People throw those kinda comments about everything on everywhere. He gave a great performance there but even I can name 5 better performances off the top of my head.

I can't wait for Bran & The Children to return next year!

They're still better than the highest ratings of Seasons 1-3. The show is doing fine and it'll climb back up in a few weeks once the brain dead Social Justice Warriors stop complaining about stuff they don't even understand and using books they've never even read as proof.

A 2.5 is below the S3 average.

It's good. Much better than Arya's nonsense and Dorne waste of time!
