I will be picking this up as soon as it comes out for the west.

The hopeful part of me feels this is a way of testing the waters before going more off the beaten path than 6. The skeptic in me is thinking they haven't really learned anything.

It wasn't as successful as REmake but successful enough to be on their greatest hits line for the cube.

It wouldn't make much sense to just release that gamecube installment and leave out the other exclusive. It was in the works the same time as REmake HD.

Rumors are going around about RE2 HD but we will see if there is any truth to them.

I really hope they've been skipping the Wii U with the last two remakes because you're able to play them on the WIi U through the RE:Archive games
