6. 1989
61. Red
63. Fearless
99. Speak Now
101. Taylor Swift
Red coming for 4.2M and Speak Now 4.5M, if they haven't already.
They should all rechart, hopefully.

Aw, that hilarious "Katy canceled BBMA after hearing Taylor will premiering BB" thread was closed before I could even post.
Best thread this week tbh.

I really dont see it doing any less than 500M. I want to stay conservative at least until the 1st month is up, that is when we will see about real longevity!

As far as my understanding goes, Sofia Vergara is some kind of mogul, she has the rights to a very successful TV series or something like that, i dont remember anymore!
Angelina Jolie had Maleficent smashing during the tracking period
Beyoncé had that one very successful tour with Jay-Z and the Tidal thing
And for the one asking, no, the Celebrity 100 has nothing to do with this list. Oprah has never been below Beyoncé on this one yet Beyoncé topped the Celebrity 100, as that one is actually about success!

Taylor is named as the most charitable celebrity last year, and Angelina Jolie doesnt make that much from maleficient, for instance Jennifer Lawrence had hunger games and yet she "only" earned $30M or so at best, movies arent as profitable as music when it comes to the singers vs actors discussion.
The tidal thing is a failure so...
I wont argue when it comes to the likes of Maryssa Meyer, Mary Barra or Sonia Sotomayor since they were at the top of their respective fields and they re REALLY powerful overall but Beyoncé above Taylor with such a gap as the most powerful musician ? ******** really
but nvm

Its because Taylor is "tall white skinny blonde" so they dismiss her
accomplishments as being unearned abd unworthy of as much respect as they would be if a minority race woman had done what she has done.

I can see Red overtake Speak Now when all is said and done since Red seems to be her best selling catalog album right now after her career move. Funny how Red is bigger than 1989 in Japan only and that Speak Now is bigger than Red in the US only

Idk tho
because i mean SN recharted during reds release as well, and the gap between them is probably only about 2k weekly, so it's take quite a few years for red to snatch

I m talking about years not months though, like how Poker Face finally overtook Just Dance in the US. The difference is like 300k or so : 300k/2k = 150 weeks
I also hope Speak Now will be able to pass Recovery she will get 5/5 as the best selling albums during their respective year of release

Folks do know Beyonce came from a upper middle class family? Maybe not as rich as Taylor's but she grew up in a Black upper middle class neighborhood in Houston. Her family had to downgrade when her father quit his job to become a full time manager. Just like Taylor's family rented their home in Hendersonville, TN until Taylor bought them a home. Her family didn't move to TN until her father got a job transfer there. They make her father out to be some J Paul Getty. As tho he's the only wealthy man in America that has a daughter who wants to entertain for a living.

Oh I see that makes sense, yeah I hope so too. I also hope BS and YBWM hit 5m by the end of next era.
Passing recovery is gonna be hard because I think the gap widens slightly every year, so if her next release is huge and eminem slowly fades then only it'll be possible.
