Reggae//Dancehall is considered one of the urban genres in the US.

If Its Loving that You Want is a Pop song. If it was Ashlee Simpson or Gwen Stefani singing it back in 2005 no one would've even questioned it.

"Happy" and "All of Me" were classified as Pop songs at the Grammys, and let's be real, they wouldn't be considered for "Best Male Video" at the VMAs if they were pure R&B songs. There is a gray area when it comes to genres.
