You could put 10000 different girls in Taylor's situation and none of them would emulate her. It is her songs alone that are the cause for her superstardom. Teardrops and Tim McGraw smashed because they were great songs and uniquely written by Taylor. There were no other young teenage girls smashing on Country Radio at that time. The only exceptions were Carrie Underwood and Kellie Pickler and they were famous from American Idol, so while they were new they were already famous. Taylor's songs smashed because they were great songs. No-one cared whether her parents were rich or not. It was a non-factor.
