Their album sales are the same yet Beyoncé has less albums. LOL. There's part of the answer right there. She seems more powerful because she is more powerful. She routinely earns more than Rihanna, is half of a major power couple, is generally more respected by the public and their industry peers, etc. That's not to say that Rihanna isn't powerful, but Beyoncé is the most powerful woman in music and that's not arguable. I have to ask if you were joking when you made this thread.
