excited for Channing to play Gambit

Ewwww he is such an awful actor!!!Why are they ruining the movie with horrible,but famous actors?

SO annoyed that Channing is playing Gambit. Even worse that he's getting his OWN movie?
I understand why Jean and Storm are basic in the films, but if they got their own origin films they could show of a lot more!
Also, can anyone tell me why Storm can resist telepathic abilities?

And @LadyLana; someone explained a few pages back that she has other abilities (possibly magical in nature) that gives her resistance to telepaths.

Caliban confirmed on Apocalypse

Cheaper to make and they locked Hugh into a Wolverine + 2 sequels contract like all their X-Men stars so they have to make this movie. I don't mind a Wolverine movie since it'll be a gap year after Apocalypse but with The New Mutants for 2018 there won't be another regular X-Men movie until at least 2019 and that summer will feature the final Avengers movie which means it would be insane to try release in May that year.

Rogue is a Fox property, as far as the cinematic universe is concerned (I think).

She won't be in an any Marvel adaptations.

Wasn't this done in the comics after AOU came out in theaters? I think that was their way of explaining why 2 mutants appeared in MCU movies
