Maroon 5 have been grating to listen to since 2011 when MLJ was on the radio every 5 minutes. Their music is **** and Adam Levine's voice makes me want to drive my car off a bridge. Their new summer song is no different but I'm ready for radio to shove it down our throats

It's not that horrible relative to how their songs usually perform on sales.

It is bad considering this is essentially a brand-new single that had a massive radio deal. Maps even was able to make it to the top ten in its first week.

I still don't think you can read too much into one week where it had a subpar performance on iTunes- and like I said, it's not horrible- and you sure can't say that the GP isn't here for it.

A few more weeks in the 12-17 range, as well as some bad streaming numbers, and then maybe there's a valid argument that radio is essentially forcing the song onto the public.

One things for sure, their digital power has sharply declined since the Overexposed era (fitting name). I'm still not convinced that more weeks of airplay and a video will do much more for this song. And the song isn't even top fifty on Spotify.

What was the Top 10 list from last year?

Just to see what the distribution was in term of how early in the year they were released.

TSGH is one of M5's worst songs ever, so I'm here for it flopping. They need a tug to remind them to make better quality music. They're getting lazy.

It's a bop and sales will pick up. Sugar is still going strong and selling approximately the same as TSGH which means that people aren't very thirsty for new M5 yet.

I think it's too late for M5 to go back to Rock. They've lost that crowd already.

I thought Uptown Funk might rise a little more given its end of the week consistency. But the problem at I-Tunes that day did hurt the song. Still I'm hoping UF surprises me and sells 60,000+. Therefore I hope it can actually make a small increase in sales this week, given the fact UF had a Monday where it sold unusually solidly, and there won't be any back and forth on the download sites this week.
