You're cool but pounding away at your unsteardy keyboard and it cracked Cricket about excuses? It's not an excuse. Larry said they were releasing singles. Then Britney says album is not a priority. This before PG, months in fact. Why would they suddenly change course? Obviously they know BJ bombed. Obviously they realize trying to do an album and Vegas can't be going concurrently.
How many acts have been releasing singles prior to an album? Usher, Rihanna, Iggy herself, countless others. The reasons differ, and you can speculate and hate all day long - cause you're cool as a vegetable - but this has been known before and now after, regardless of PG performance. As if a flop stopped her before. A complete total meltdown in the public eye didn't scare her label from releasing an album. Get your logic in order.
