If the whole cast had been white, people would've complained about that. Ugh. This is too true. These Tumblr SJWs just don't understand that the only alternative to featuring gross caricatures of minority characters is not featuring minority characters at all. Featuring minority characters who aren't racist two-dimensional stereotypes and who do more than act as cheap entertainment value and play second fiddle to the fully fleshed-out straight white characters is OF COURSE out of the question. It wouldn't be a true comedy unless some minorities were oppressed.

Now if any of these characters were gay men this would obviously be an entirely different story. Then the outrage would totes be justified.

Well in any comedy movie there's a lot of this type of humor, and it isn't just racism but also homophobia, sexism, etc. And honestly in moderation I don't really mind but yeah I did feel a bit uncomfortable with some of the things they said during the movie.

I'm not really sensitive when it comes to racist jokes but this movie made me cringe the whole time. The first one was funny and it had offensive jokes, but the execution was a lot better than the second one. Basically, PP2 was racist and it wasn't funny at all.

Pitch Perfect was ass, so I dont care to see this one, but How about shut up and enjoy the movie? Like not everything is to be taken seriously goddamn. Like bruh how uptight do you have to be to go to a 'comedy' and expect a social awareness documentary. When did people start getting so soft smh

I haven't seen it yet, but the OP doesn't sound like anything too serious. I mean, if they were carrying out the jokes themselves [the Guatemalan and lesbian] and not being made fun of, then there's not really a problem there...

...how does that make a difference? Their roles were still written by white people. It's not like the minority characters are actually saying those things
