Probably late 80s to early 90s.

Songs like Sheena Easton's Telefone and Almost Over You, A-ha's Take On Me, Madonna's debut, and even Rick Astley's biggest hit are easy pleasures.

2010. It's almost impossible for me to get into old music, I need the "it's new" factor to get into a song.

1920's - One of my favorite Operas, Turandot, was written and one of my favorite arias Nessun dorma ("None shall sleep") is in it.

40-50’s - Sinatra. Interestingly enough he left the Democratic Party to endorse Reagan for Gov. and never looked back, he told his daughter, "the older you get, the more conservative you get." Truer words could never be spoken.

60's - and on just music in general.

I could write a ton, I guess that history of music class I took in college wasn't a total waste and I do remember a few things.
