Good evening, and welcome to Nighttime Discussions on ATRL. I'm your host, Giselle. Recently, I reported a story here about a christian woman declining to do flower arrangements for a gay wedding. She was reported by the couple and then fined. Shortly after, friends set up a GoFundMe for her where she got a serious paycheck.
I was just watching a clip Megyn Kelly's The Kelly File on Fox News and they mentioned the story. It dawned on me that this florist's constitutional rights were violated. The first amendment clearly states "freedom of religion..." among other things. Let's be clear; she does not deny gay people service. She simply did not want to participate in a gay wedding, a spiritual union of two people. This went against her religious beliefs and she was punished for that. I believe her rights were violated. Do you?
She didn't participate in the wedding. She was asked to provide flowers. That's like someone who makes rugs denying service to a gay couple because the presence of that rug in a house where gay activities are celebrated will form an affront to their faith.

What is your issue with gays, sis? You make some questionable statements....
