@ladygaga "Don't be insecure if your heart is pure...", Lady Gaga chants in her third studio album, 'Born This way'; celebrating its four year anniversary today. Along with many other little monsters, the album was a milestone, a body of art; a soundtrack to all the blood, sweat, and tears for all the so-called "underdogs". The know, the ones who were never "cool" enough, "smart" enough, "fun" enough, "straight" enough, "normal" enough, etc. It was a dark album full of so much light. An album of revolutionary anthems of acceptance, remembrance, forgiveness, love, and, above all, freedom. It truly defined a movement. 'Born This Way' has forever changed my outlook on life; past, present, and future. It, as silly as it may sound, helped aid me in the fight for always being positive, fighting for love, and being the truest version of ME. Music speaks volumes, and this album just so happened to remain on a consistent replay both physically AND mentally. So cheers to four years of an amazing album and Paws Up to you, Lady Gaga for letting me, little monsters, and most of the world see into the artistic and passionate mind of a woman who will fight to the "Edge of Glory" for equality of all types and helping us to dance, love, and have fun along the way. -- We all have music, and hopefully albums, that have touched our souls. This just so happens to be mine because, "baby I was Born This Way"!
