But don't copyright laws protect things like this? You have to contact the owner of the photo for permission to use their photo

don't think those instagram photos are copyrighted. I think u have to go through some process to copyright them. it's not like people have the time or patient to go through the process. I mean, post your photos 6 months later after the copyright request has been approved?
