Well in my opinion she has had an immense impact on the modern film realm having won so many awards and receiving so much acclaim so early on in her career! But it's all pretty subjective.
It differs culturally (generally speaking), even in the US. I'm black and a lot of really great actresses aren't as iconic to the GP as they are to black people so my list really reflects that.
