And this year Poland is trying to stand out with a girl in a wheelchair, which seems to have worked again. So more power to them. Edyta Gorniak who was our represent in 1994, out debut year, wanted to go to Eurovision this year but she wasn't chosen. Our TV - TVP said that Edyta said that she is interested after they choose Monika, so they can't fire Monika and take Edyta instaed.
Also Doda, one of biggest stars in Poland wanted to go but she wanted a lot of money - not for herself but for show that she wanted to organise big show. The talking with TVP again wasn't good and she wasn't chosen.
So yea, this year two big stars from Poland wanted to go, but TVP didn't want them.
Their songs are usually terrible
