DC's argument is so silly. They must have very little faith in their readers comprehension skills if they think they'll buy a palette of eye shadow called "Robyn" (not even Robin) because they assumed it's some type of Batman collectors item.
That being said, Robyn is such a common name, I don't think it needs to/should be trademarked.
