Will Taylor be the female MJ?
On Wednesday, She should be just the 2nd artist with 4 albums to each yield 4 T10 hits:
Love Story, Change, You Belong with Me, Fearless, Jump then Fall
Mine, Back to December, Speak Now, If This Was a Movie
We Are Never Ever, Lord Knew You Were Trouble, Begin Again, Red
Shake it Off, Blessed Space, Style...Grammy Blood
Let’s look at some of Her peers:
2 albums w/4 T10 hits - Rihanna, Gaga, Beyonce (even inc DC)
1 - Katy, Kelly, Justin Timberlake (inc NSync), Maroon Five
0 - Pink, Adele, Bruno, Bieber, 1D, DeRulo
If you wanna look at the pop queens of yesteryear:
Madonna 3...almost at Taylor’s level
Janet 3...same
Mariah 1...but she liked to stop at 3 official singles early on.
Does this amazing accomplishment officially cement Her place up there with the definitive king of pop?
If you're pressed and think "no," why not?

Some of those top tens are not hits, they charted based on lax rules and itunes trickery. And no she won't be, because she has no impact as an artist musically. She is all hype and sales.

The OP himself included DC & NSYNC, so the 4 albums are:
Survivor
Dangerously in love
B'Day
& I am.. Sasha Fierce

If the 80 stars had the benefits of itunes, they'd be charting whole albums on the BB Hot 100 too. Her entry based achievements all should have a BTW asterisk beside them.

I'd argue with Independent Women counting, since it was first released as a soundtrack single about 8 months before the Survivor album. Similarly, Check On It was released from another album - a compilation - about 8 months previously, and 5 or so months before the actual lead single.

iTunes "trickery?" All she did was release promo singles (and sometimes album tracks) like pretty much everyone else and, um, have enough commercial power to send those songs to #1 on HDS unlike most of her peers. And if you'll recall, the eras in which that was an issue are ones in which she didn't have a preorder to help her out.

Technological innovation is not the fault of any artist and is something that merely has to be accepted for what it is. It makes it more difficult to compare between eras, but that doesn't change that none of her peers in the modern era are replicating that success (which, with your assumptions, should still be commonplace with today's digital opportunities).
