A generic ballad will not wow the juries, just like a generic Dance Pop song won't.

I remember one of the german judges telling in an interview how they (the Jury) were watching Loreens Performance and they all together came felt this was just it: the catchy yet smart and fresh song and an amazing Performance that juxtaposed the song.

People should remember that you don't Need wind machine and a ball gown for a ballad and you don't Need 20 dancers and Disco balls for Dance Songs.

They're just mad the Balkans and other Eastern countries can't vote for eachother anymore or depend on their emigrants to vote for their own country.

They're also mad they can't send a troll act just to get more attention 'cause it won't get past the semifinals.
