Oh I agree, however it's catchy and weird enough to get some points...
Look at the previous years where countries have literally sent grannies, songs about moustaches and most songs that dont even make sense, but still pick up a few points.
The commentator said The Netherlands were in a semi-final with a lot of countries that didn't give points to The Netherlands last year, so yes, if the last year #2 song didn't get a lot of votes from the countries in this semi-final, it's not surprising those same countries would be even less supportive with Trijntje.
The Common Linnets got the most points in the first semi-final and every country gave them points...
