Those saying it was also due to Taylor might be forgetting the last AMAs had a ratings decline over the previous year and Taylor opened that show. There was also a ratings decline at last year's VMAs and Taylor was also hyped as one of the big draws and she performed.

Taylor was up for loads of awards in AMAs 2013 as opposed to 2014 when she was only up for one Award for Excellence! Taylor winning Artist of the Year, plus 3 other AMAs > 1 AMA in 2014!

Ratings will be up again in AMAs 2015!
