HDD doesn't usually list EPs in their upcoming releases. Only albums. They never listed Flo Rida's (her mentors) EP, My House. They even have artists like Ryn Weaver and Tori Kelly who released major debut EP's but, they're still labelled as a "debut".

It might still be an EP, it may have just been a miscommunication between her label and HDD but HDD only lists albums on this section of their site. Maybe they're advertising it as a "mini-album" or something, idk.

Tell us about the EP you’re working on. I’ve been in full recording mode in past weeks in L.A. We just have to pick the songs that we like. It’s gonna be a 4 or 5 song EP; It’s gonna be rhythmic, danceable, energetic and pop with a little bit of soulfulness in it.
