dddd that map. The Netherlands/ Germany/ Switzerland are green af.
But f.e. Uruguay is top 5 but there were only 53 participants while the NL or Switzerland have 3000 so I doubt this is reliable.
Italy is fairly high despite being homophobic af tho
It's nice to see NZ so high, but also sad to know that at the same time it's still a really homophobic country - and that the world still has so, so SO far to go before a gay couple can canoodle in public without being a circus attraction.
In all seriousness I'm actually surprised Thailand is above Australia and Australia is only #20. I must not be much aware of the LGBT movement over there.

Nowdays Australia is generally pretty accepting, especially with the under 30 crowd where there is essentially universal support for LGBT rights, etc.
I imagine it lost a few places on the list because we still don't have marriage equality yet but most likely will have it before the decade is over.
Scandinavia at the top does not surprise me one bit.
This. Scandinavia always slays every human rights/equality poll whenever they're taken. Seems like a heavenly place to live tbh. Lemme pack my bags (as long as they're not raciste)

It's a bit strange Australia is so low... we don't have gay marriage (because of the goverment) but most people aren't homophobic
