The reason why Europe voted for Poland is purely cause of the the diaspora of Polish workers.
As you could see with last year, text voters in the UK gave 12 points to Poland and the jury only gave them 0 points which is why UK didn't give the 12 points to Poland at the end. This probably happens in more countries like Netherlands, Ireland and Germany.

Italy will give 12 points to Albania because Elhaida won The Voice of Italy two years ago, but that's all that she's getting tbh

We love Italy so much, such a beautiful country and nice people. Actually There were only 3 countries where The jury acted fair towards Poland: Italy, Germany and Belarus. The last one was a surprise.

With the change tho that was made you do need points from the jury to get a high score. The Polish act was deemed by many juries as vulgar.

Some countries like Romania, Poland, Ukraine, Serbia or Russia have a huge amount of emigration going on and that's why they always get so much popular voting.

(That is also why Eurovision brought back the jury, to messure the diaspora voting.)

Poland always fails at the Eurovision since we cant even count on diaspora votes. No one cares about ESC here. We have not even participated for 2 years. Last year was an exception.
