The first Pitch Perfect was way better. I remember being so excited for it and seeing it like 5 times in theatres.

Amazing that they're reaching the first movie's full run in theatres with one weekend, though. Hopefully the 3rd is better

Fat Amy is amazing and so funny! She made the movie.

So just finished watching the second one and it was rather disappointing. They just rehashed the same storyline pretty much from the first movie except with less laughs. The first movie was so good that of course I expected to be semi let down but it just wasn't that exciting. My date who hadn't seen the first one was like, "why didn't we go see mad max" idk opinions are like assholes but I could have passed on this movie Tbh

BTW it would break the record for a female-led comedy's opening weekend. Previously Sex and the City at $57 mil.
