While admitting that she’d lost touch with her “Lizzie” co-stars over the years — as everyone tends to do with their friends from childhood — the surprise reunion *might* have sparked a brand new start. “[Hilary] and I exchanged numbers,” Lalaine revealed. “She texted me a couple times, and it’s such a trip to randomly see her name pop up on my phone now. It’s like, yeah, we may not have spoken for 14 years, but somehow it’s one of those things where it’s probably gonna just pick up where it left off."
We can only hope the two former co-stars and friends remain close again from now on. Obviously, a “Lizzie McGuire” reunion would help make that dream a reality. When asked whether she’d be interested in such a thing, Lalaine responded cryptically, “I’m curious about it, but that’s all I can comment or answer.”
Lalaine also revealed that the two were super close while filming their Disney Channel series, which just makes our pre-pubescent hearts soar, doesn’t it?
“We lived like across the street from each other by chance. Hilary and I shaved our legs together for the first time,” she said.
