basically last year before BJ had been released or anything there was a huge thing about a GMA performance and the britney army were basically sure that they were going to see a performance of work bitch in the desert right
at this time i don't think she'd officially announced vegas but everyone knew it was happening
anyway so all the queens tune into GMA that morning and there is this huge group of people dressed up in britney's iconic outfits in the middle of the desert, holding up all these little cards that make a huge picture of britney and officially announce the vegas residency on tv, and britney flies over in a helicopter, throws up in the helicopter and spends <2 mins talking to someone in the desert, completely paying her fans dust as they cut to a prerecorded(?) interview announcing the vegas residency
BUT for like hours before a live stream had been up for the "real fans" and courtney friel was the reporter delivering the stream. all of the britney army are having a massive meltdown because there's no performance and she's nowhere to be seen, and she's like speaking non stop for at least an hour saying things like "the sun will come up soon" and "guys a drone is coming" "look at the drone, can u see it?" "i hear a drone will be coming shortly" and she didn't even get an interview with britney, who completely ignored her
so in the middle of this huge meltdown she was just being so hilarious and tragic interviewing mario lopez and commenting on like the weather etc
