I thought I saw somewhere they had 2.7M last night but didn't screen cap it.
Either way, that is a low number.
I truly think if they would have come out with a great song then the response would be better.
The fact that her team considered that lackluster Tom's diner cover and this song as 2 parts of a few great singles makes me really question her team more than ever before.
I think the video is ok but it's not Britney...Britney even in WB had that special factor about her.
I hate to think that Britney just isn't smart enough to see that being excited to release this type of song in her mid 30s is a good move...and then add a tacky 80s theme to the video.
Again the video is good but I'm not seeing anything special that makes me think this is a britney video.
Streaming/sales/video views show that the public is not here for this type of Britney...I dont think Iggy impacted it negatively...I'm surprised she thought this song was going to be a big hit. She said that herself earlier this year.
So my idea is clear the reinvention that she'll need for era 10 will have to come after she gets engaged, married possibly another child and she has to be REINSPIRED to do something great again.
2015 is not going to be a good year for Britney's brand...my initial hesitation once the title of the song was pretty girls...
So now we are 0 for 2...if her album is going in this direction she can keep it.
She's not 21 anymore and she needs to deliver something significant. She did it with In the zone and even with Blackout. She can do it again
