MARIAH, the best selling female artist of all time, spoke candidly with the L.A.Times about her previous work and upcoming projects. In summary:

• She says she wrote a song for EMPIRE for Luscious or Cookie but Lee wants her to be a character on the show
• The Annual Christmas Residency at Beacon Theatre in NYC is continuing this year
• She has a few TV projects lined up.
• She is working on movie roles (maybe the Christmas movie?)
• She teases there's a lot more to come from her this year that she'll announce later.

But things got interesting when she was asked about heading back into the studio.

Title - I don't think Beyoncé stole the titled BEYONCÉ
Concept - Mariah was still on The Art of Letting Go while Beyoncé was in the middle of filming and planning for the release
Visuals - I HIGHLY doubt that at any point complete visuals were planned for MIAMTE, much less the exact same concepts presented in Self-Titled
In conclusion, stop trying so hard

Repeating the same things multiple times doesn't make them true and it doesn't make Madonna have higher sales than Mariah Carey
