Pretty Girls MV gets mostly positive reviews

In the campy video, Spears primps herself poolside when an alien (Azalea) suddenly falls from the sky. The pop singer is in her silliest form, playfully singing the track's lyrics and giving Azalea's alien character a Valley Girls makeover. Azalea's imitation of an alien imitating a stereotypical California accent falls flat, but the clip is reminiscent of some of Spears' best videos, including "(You Drive Me) Crazy" and "Oops!... I Did It Again."

As a Song of Summer contender, "Pretty Girls" is pretty bleh, but as a music video? It's definitely ... something. An apparent homage to 1988 Jeff Goldblum vehicle Earth Girls Are Easy — hey, it worked last time — the video stars Britney as a ditzy '80s valley girl and Iggy as an alien who comes to Earth to share her superpowered product placement with humanity. Well that's a more important opinion than all those pathetic members in the video thread.
I hope PG gets into the top 20 again before the performance, the timing is right for this to climb up slowly and steady again.
