album sales are dead. usually in like 2008 she would of at least gone platinum by now. Also Ariana has yet to establish a mature fan base that can purchase albums. most of her fans are really REALLY young. as in they arent even 16 (they dont have part time jobs or whatever to buy a full album) so they just steal their moms credit cards and buy a few singles hoping their moms won't notice on their bank statements.
however as her fan base ages we will see a big rise in her album sales! bookmark me and come shade me 2-3 years from now if im wrong and if I'm still on here
One Last Time and Love Me Harder we're moderate hits to be completely honest. On Bang Bang she is overshadowed and swallowed up by Jessie J's. Problem and Break Free we're the only big hits and those weren't selling no damn albums. Her biggest mistake was wasting he grammy performance. If she would have performed her new single then it would be pushed to become a hit (is OLT even gold?) and she could probably scrape 700k but idk.
She's hardly a singles artist on the level of Pitbull and Jason Derulo, but people aren't here for her enough yet to cop her amazing alberms yet it seems.
