I don't really get this statement. What has she proven in the first place?

That she can dance?
That she can get by, by lip-synching?
That she used to be able to sell for a period of 5 yrs?
That she can hop on the popular people and kill their careers as soon as people realize that Britney worked with them?

She has A LOT to prove. No one outside of this site and exhale thinks highly of her.

There is no difference in musical trends just because someone is solo vs. being in a band.

Actually, I don't really get what she has really proved. Yeah, she used to be VERY popular but except for it... idk.

Nahhh, Britney has done and achieved so much that these other girls will prolly never see in their entire career, the only thing she needs to prove if she wants to smash again is that she still has the DRIVE, the PASSION and the GUTS that she once had.

The answer to this would depend on what is being proven. Overall yes she has things to still prove.

If you’re talking about does she need to do any more to cement her mark in pop culture? No.
If you’re talking about does she need to do anything to prove her abilities as an artist? Yes.
If you’re talking about does she need to prove why she’s still around? No.
If you’re talking about does she need to prove that she’s still a relevant poster with something fresh to bring? Yes.

Do people think highly of Madonna? She also needs to prove herself?

I feel like all musicians except maybe a few will always have a couple of things to prove. But Brit has said herself that she's completely content with her career and if she retires she would be happy with it. At the end of the day that's all that matters. If you're personally content with your career who cares about anyone's opinion on it?
