That's always possible but both Mitch and Janis have both mentioned these in their autobiographies and they aren't on the greatest terms. If what both of them had said was true, she had tried going cold turkey from alcohol and was successful for a couple months (you can recall there being big venues where they called her stiff, wooden, nervous) and then, right before Belgrade, she had something that totally ****ed her up. Their account seems pretty likely.
