Beyonce>>Wall>>Pink=Gaga(Both have problems with smoking, drinking and Gaga might have bulimia so their level fluctuates)>>>>Gap>>>>>Demi>Alicia(current)>Hayley >>>>Gap>>>Kelly>Katy>Ariana>Christina(I could argue Lorde's better but I won't)
J.Low>=Lorde>Lana>=Taylor>=Rihanna
Selena's last for sure
Beyonce is easily first, Selena is easily last
Christina has shown strain on a G#4 and is air below A3, but then again she's shown support on a C#5 as well just not consistently
Not 100% sure about Demi, Alicia and Hayley, they could be interchangeable as well
I would never have guessed Katy is that great of a vocal technician.
Ugh Delissa Hunter(My fave reliable youtube vocal coach person) did an amazing analysis of Ariana
Yaasss @ Dileesa. Her and Eric Arceneaux are my fave vocal coaches.
I LOVE her Feeling Good cover. And when she sings during her livestreams.
when she sang Toni's Let It Flow

The main reason people think Katy is **** is because of her pitch, Lorde, Arian and Taylor and quite a few less vocally able people are quite a bit better then her at it. The messy pitch really drags away from her technique, she's been showing resonance on C5's and C#5's quite a bit(Not sure about D5 as I don't follow her really) but she normally is a mess on Eb5 up

Why do you think some young singers strain on a D5 but can sustain above F#5 with vibrato?
I can think of Demi, Christina and Tori when I say this but there may be more.

Vibrato=\=Healthy
There are different kinds of Vibrato e.g.Caprino(Shakira has this, its her goatish sound), and yes a healthy supported note should naturally produce a healthy vibrato however false unhealthy vibratos can be made. These false vibratos don't sound healthy, so they'll generally be overly fast, or with Xtina its jaw vibrato were its exaggerated

Basically this.

Let's take the time to appreciate an underrated vocalist who is also one of the best, Ms. Lisa Fischer

Well, Demi used to strain on lower notes sometimes, but recently, all her belting range has been way more consistent... She's been slaying too much lately.
Her improvement has been unbelievable, also Tori has show some good G5s on Nobody Love live. Watch this and you'll see her upper belts can be quite nice.
Oh, and I was also referring to Christina Grimmie, Xtina has only show good vibrato in the 5th octave a few times (E5 on CEM, D5 on Lady Marmalade @Tango Wango, C#5 in Oh Mother) and that's probably all.
This isn't her best belt with vibrato but is still pretty good (2:41) I also post this for the nearly operatic C#6 at 2:12, I can say without a doubt she has the best head voice of her generation (Singers born in the 90s)
Katy's showed well-supported D5 belts here and there, but she still needs to work on it.
Her C5 and C#5's are even and resonant though. She's improving a lot.

I've seen a few videos about Demi starting to improve again, I think someone mentioned seeing a coach again and her getting her eating disorder under control probably has helped as well. She must of really deteriorated for her fans to notice though. This video's a goodie, although some of those "resonant" notes aren't "resonant" however the improvement is noticeable . That D5 in Let It Go difference is the biggest to me
For Tori anything above Eb5 isn't great, legit D5/Eb5 is were her consistency ends from what I've seen.
I don't know enough about that Christine Gimmie person to say much, the high note at 2:41 maybe an G5/A5(Not the best at note identification) was decent and foreward. The head voice sounded a little fast to me, a little shrill, not operatic. I'd also say Jojo might have a better head voice
Can you (and everyone else here) help me figure out the ranges and vocal types of all the members of Sugababes/Girls Aloud/The Saturdays/Little Mix please?
And if you think I'm searching for YouTube videos after all the years we've known each other ...
