Woman who didn’t know she was pregnant gives birth on flight
Quote:
A 23-year-old Canadian woman who had no clue she was pregnant got the Mother's Day surprise of a lifetime Sunday when she gave birth on an Air Canada flight.
The healthy baby girl shocked Ada Guan and her boyfriend Wesley Branch, who were traveling from Calgary to Tokyo, Japan, when the mom-to-be went into labor 36,000 feet above the Pacific Ocean.
"She told me, 'Something fell out of me,'" Branch told Global News. "I lifted up her pants and I saw a head and then I heard, 'Wah.' I thought, 'Oh my god, I think we have a kid.'"
Idg how women can "not know they're pregnant". Like this legitimately confuses me every time one of these stories crops up. Can someone explain how someone can not know they have a human growing inside of them for 9 months? Like aren't there a multitude of signs that your body gives?

This like wtf
I bet it was a attention thing to get in the headlines like this
If something like that ever happened to me, I'd be devastated. Kids are annoying. Lol.
I couldn't even imagine having an unplanned and unwanted child just sprung on me while picking hot peanuts out of a plastic bag on a flight I don't even want to be on.

I think body weight plays the most major role in this actually.
Reaching 9 months of pregnancy without realizing it seems extremely unlikely. However,

Actually going through labour and not realizing it? I call ********.
There's no ****ing way. She didn't know she was having a kid until the head popped out? ********.
I'm calling ********. No woman can be that dense and out of tune with their body. I remember thinking I was pregnant when I was virgin. Like, ****ing, the second coming of Christ is coming out of my body and my parents are going to kick my ass. No one is going to believe I'm a virgin and was masturbating to pics of Justin Timberlake. Like that's my punishment, I'll NEVER masturbate again. Justin is my baby daddy. Panicking over the slightest change and bloat. AND I WAS A VIRGIN.
