Islam rejects homosexual actions, not thoughts that we can suppress or urges we can control. To say homosexuality is a choice is a statement of brain-washed denial. I didn't wake up one morning at the age of 6 and decided to be bi/gay, just like straight people didn't wake up one morning to say they're attracted to vaginas.

It is a fact that my deeds are written by angels based on what I do, not what I think. If I want to think about raping a girl or stealing money but not go through with it, yeah it'll be effed up but I won't be held accountable because I never fulfilled that action. Homosexuality lies in the same realm.

Edit: If you are Muslim, I suggest you revisit the story of Lut.

Ultimately, it's your choice and it's called faith because sometimes you have to put the course of your life and happiness in the hands of Allah (swt). Yeah, on paper it seems miserable but I personally believe this a test from God and in that way I feel blessed and thankful everyday.

I'm from Kuwait, but I'm not muslim. It is known here (since most people in Kuwait are muslim) that Islam does actually reject homosexuality and it is considered a sin.
