Only if you kill yourself in a way that harms other people... Like jumping in front of a train and leaving the driver to have nightmares for the rest of their life.
I think it's just b.s. to say that. And it is actually selfish and judgmental of those who say that, as they are ignoring the fact that the other person felt depressed or hopeless enough (or perhaps had an illness, either physiological or mental) to not want to keep on living.
why? as Queen Ani says, The World owe us nothing, while we owe each other the world... Ultimately we are in this life alone and we have a right to make this final decision However, it's a very sad and tough decision and most people just do it out of mental shock/temporary desperation
Only if you kill yourself in a way that harms other people... Like jumping in front of a train and leaving the driver to have nightmares for the rest of their life.
The act itself isn't selfish though.
Any way you do it someone's gonna have to clean up your mess and have nightmares about it, so this logic is
no
anyone who thinks so is obviously lucky enough to be completely ignorant to true depression or any other kind of mental problem so they think they have a right to judge someone who is hopelessly lost & thinks the world is better off without them
