I think 15 categories is enough. We should rename the categories too, i.e. The Khia Award - Most Hood, The Stacy Dash Award - The Most Self-Hating Black, etc. It makes the categories a lot more interesting.

Having hosted The Lambily Awards for three consecutive years, let me tell you that it's a lot easier to have a committee of objective people nominate versus having everyone nominate whoever they wanted. In the first Lambily Awards, I had everyone nominate who they wanted and as a result, we have 50 million people per category.

My methodology is similar to how the real world works. We have choices but we choose from a select few options.

In any case, it's just recommendation, you don't have to take anything I say to heart.

That's what I ended up doing but some people got the same amount of votes, causing the nominees to be 7+ people in one category. Another difficulty I had with that was getting people to nominate. It took too many wall messages and PMs to get people going. IMO, it's too much work.

In any case, I don't know why you're complaining when you've always been on the committee.
